If you subscribe then make sure you log in! Use your e-mail address along with your password which for first timers will be your Customer ID (subscriber number). We always provide a reminder of your password on the carrier sheet that is used to mail your issues to you.

Under the subscriber log you will benefit from:

  • Full access to current and past articles to the title to which you subscribe
  • Access to past and new book reviews written by peers across sports medicine, health and fitness
  • Your subscriber discount will be applied as soon as you buy anything ensuring you get the lowest prices possible on books, patient leaflets and courses
  • Under the My Account area, you can change or view all sorts of handy information (see below for more details)
  • There is also a Special Preferences area where you can fill in your clinical interests. We will use these preferences to alert you to courses, conferences, new books or articles that are published in these areas.

Even if you are not a subscriber, it's still worth registering because it will give you access to:

  • Past and new book reviews written by peers across sports medicine, health and fitness
  • A number of articles that have been made available only to those registering on the website
  • Access to Conference presentations features on the sportEX site
  • There is also a Special Preferences area where you can fill in your clinical interests. We can then alert you to courses, conferences, new books or articles that are published in these areas.

What’s on the site? There are 7 main areas

  1. My Account: Where you can check details of past orders, the status of current orders and change any contact details we hold about you such as your address, e-mail or password. You can even check how many issues remain in your current subscription.
  2. Topic areas: Where all articles published in previous issues of sportEX health and sportEX medicine are grouped under Subject area.
  3. Magazines: Where you can find information about each of the publications we publish, as well as articles published in previous issues of all our publications and grouped under the magazine title and issue number.
  4. Leaflets: Where you can find more information about our patient advice leaflets, pack sizes and leaflets included in each pack. You can also buy the leaflets in this section.
  5. Books: We have negotiated discounts on books with most of the major publishers including Butterworth Heinemann; Churchill Livingstone; Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins; Human Kinetics; Taylor and Francis; Wiley Books and McGraw Hill to name just a few. This is where you can order the books at discounted prices but also benefit from free postage and packing if you’re a subscriber. You will also find our special book reviews under this section.
  6. Courses and Events: This section is maintained by many course providers in the health, fitness and sports medicine arena and also contains courses that we are running under the sportEX banner. Conferences can also be found under this section and there is a ‘Submit an event’ option where anyone visiting the sportEX website can submit details about events taking place that do not currently feature on the website. You are able to book places on any courses or conferences being run by sportEX under the section.
  7. Shopping: All the items available for sale on the sportEX website can also be found within this section including magazine subscriptions, subscriptions renewals, patient leaflets, books, courses and conferences and other odds and sods like sportEX binders etc.
